I found an Atlas jar that has the following on it:

Atllas

Strong Shoulder

Mason

it is a Quart - blue w/a good touch of purple in the blue. There is the #5 on the bottom and has a zinc lid.

I am interested in any information that someone might offe:
year
where made
etc. . .

thank you in advance for any light that you may be able to shine on my jar!

I found numerous atlas, strong shoulder jars in the basement of my new home.
have gotten conflicting stories to their value.
does anyone know what they might actually be worth?
or should they be put out with the weekly trash?

I recently found an H over A clear glass jar in an odd location (on a 100 year old Oklahoma oil lease, destroyed steam house foundation site.) It is a unique shape with bevelled edges. Screw top. On the bottom it has the markings A on top, PAT 8069 centered, and 9 on the bottom.

I am just curious to history and origins of this bottle if anyone could help.

Thanks!

I have an atlas E-Z Seal qt jar with the wire closing still attached. The glass lid is in good shape with no chips or cracks. The jar itself is in good shape except for a crack in one spot of it from the top of the jar to just under the "bend" at the neck of the jar. There is sometrhing that looks like the no. 1 on the bottom of the jar. At no place am I finding the words mason or anything else. Could you tell me what this jar might be worth and where do I go from here in finding out about it? Thank you for your help. Oh...it is lt blue/green in color.

My friend has an old 'Atlas Mason's Patent', greenish glass jar with the original (tin?) screw on cover/lid with what looks like glass in the lid says "Genuine Boyd's Cap For Mason Jar" imprinted in lid. The original seal as well.
We were wondering what the value may be?
Thanks in advance~!

I'm not a jar collector, but I recently got an "Atlas H over A Mason jar" and I'd like to determine it's value if any. I had never seen a jar like this in all my years of canning, and thought it might have some value to someone.
