Settled in Wheeling, WV, the Hazel-Atlas company started in 1902 when two parent companies (Atlas Glass, WA and Hazel Glass, PA) merged. The keynote item for this business was fruit jars. I’m not a jar collector, but I recently got an “Atlas H over A Mason jar” and I’d like to determine it’s value if any. I had never seen a jar like this in all my years of canning, and thought it might have some value to someone.
