I recently bought two small what I believe are bud vases. They are gold in color and seem somewhat irredesent. they are trimed from the rim and about an inch down in 24kt gold, also inside the vase. It has a design of small draping that looks almost like a india design.. also in gold? On one side on both vases it has a oval w/a odd looking V and R the back of the R is the right side of the V which goes straight up the middle of the oval circle and there is a design that seems to be a flower ontop but outside of the oval shape..There is a ring of gold painted around the base. There is no other mark on the bottom of the vases.. can anyone tell me about them?
Thanks

my grandpa found some frosted vases, wine glasses colors are green, blue, and purple. In lake Michigan form a sunken cargo ship around the 1950's there are no identifying marks from the marker . The pattern changes is that a identifying mark? I think they are blown glass. My mom thinks they where made from Italy.

I just found what I believe to be a depression glass pitcher, but instead of a handle, there are indentations for your hand to hold it while pouring. It is very heavy, has grapes on one side and a leaf on the other. There is a mark on the bottom but is almost illegible. two initials in a three sided disconnected box. any ideas? Thanks!

I have a set of four place settings of Decagon (Cambridge) in Amethyst. Each setting is made up of a cup, saucer, bread plate and a larger plate (don't know name).

I bought the set in 1983 in NYC. One cup broke, and I combed the internet until I found one (with a saucer and a small plate).

I have seen other pieces online, but some sources say that there is NO Decagon available in Amethyst.

Can you explain this? Do you know of other pieces?

I also have 4 dinner plates, a sugar bowl and a saucer in Amethyst in Moderntone. I have a few other miscellaneous pieces in pink and green, and have no idea how to find out what pattern they are. Moderntone and Decagon are pretty unmistakable.

Thank you!
